LONDON WOOL SALES.
Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 10th January, 1922: — “Wool sales have opened. There is a large attendance of buyers, and competition is keen. Competition active for finer grades, but lower grades irregular. As compared with the closing rates of the December series, best merinos are 3d per lb. dearer; average merinos 2d per lb, dearer; half-breds 2d per lb. dearer; medium crossbreds Id per lb. dearer; coarse crossbreds £d per lb. dearer; slipe, wools, are selling better, medium id per lb. dearer, coarse fd per lb. dearer.”
