RIFLE SHOOTING.
The first shoot for the Claris Cup '-W/M will be held next Saturday, 7th inst.,' at 200 yards range. This cup was S9j presented by Mr 11. J. Claris (late flH| secretary ami treasurer of the local Club) for annual competition. It ■ H||| has been decided to hold single dicap shoots at intervals, the Hop man to gain .Tpoints, second man 2 points, and third man 1 point. The cup will be won by the man gaining the largest number of points at the end of the season, and will be held . for one year. .A full attendance is -- -Jm anticipated for next Saturday. . /
