Dee. 30. Frank Bone, aged 13 years, while out with a companion, John Hutcheson, aged 17 years, who carried a pea rifle, was accidentally shot Otautan last night. The bullet passed through his heart, and death was instantaneous. Wellington, Dec. 29. Thomas Cullen, aged 13 years, an inmate of the Anglican Boys’ Home at the Lower Hutt, was killed instantly this afternoon, through falling from a carl, the horse attached to which had bolted.
