Wanganui, Der\ 23. With less than a fortnight to go to the date of the world’s championship race, both Arnst and Hadfield are hard at it putting the finishing touches on their training operations. Arnst has brought himself, by careful training, down in the weight at which he reckons to row, and is now confining himself chiefly to. work on the river. He is looking remarkably well, and is rowing with much of his old-time pace. Apparently Hadfield is sliapjn£ better now than ever, and in a trial spin over the full course yesterday he registered rattling good time, though he had a strong wind against hhn.
