MOTOR CAR FATALITY.

TAIHAPE RESIDENT KILLED,

Taihnpe, Dec. 23,

About 10 o’clock last night Ml Frank Ginders, a well-known resident of the Taihnpe district, was instantaneously killed by dislocation of the neck in a motor ear accident. He was proceeding to his brother’s farm in a ear owned and driven by Mr W. Frew, who after lighting a cigarette from a brightly flaming match, was momentarily unable to see the road, and the car went over a dangerous bank on the Ruanui road. Air Frew was pinned under the eary- but his injuries are not thought to be serious. Two others who were in the car were thrown clear, but were not injured.
