FIRE AT THE SEASIDE.

■ Some’time on Tuesday night, or early on Wednesday morning, a fire totally destroyed a .small building at the far end of the Beach, recently fitted up by Air Perreau as a shop and soda fountain. The place was stocked in readiness for opening yesterday, and the whole of the contents were destroyed. No one was in the building since Sunday. The cause of the outbreak is a mystery. The stock and soda fountain was insured in the Commercial Union for £125, but Air Perreau’s loss will be greatly in excess of this amount.
