CROQUET.
The following are the results of games played in the Singles Competition :
“A” Singles.—Mrs Pearson beat Miss B. Speirs by two points.
“B” Section. —Mrs Head beat Mrs Huntley by three points. TWENTY-MINUTES TOURNAMENT.
The results of the twenty-minutes tournament played last Wednesday are ns follows: —
Mrs Parkes 6, Mrs Pearson 3, Mrs Huntley 3, Mrs Smith 3, Mrs Owen 3, Mrs Perreau 2, Mrs Ilealey 2, Mrs Bryant 1, Mrs Ball 1, Mrs Head 1, Miss B. Speirs 0, Mrs Gordon 0, Miss Henry 0.
Four local croquet players, Mesdnmes Bryant, Perreau, Pearson and Ball, journeyed to Longbnrr. last Thursday to take part in a friendly tournament with the Longbnrn croquet players. Mesdames Bryant and Pearson played a lady and gentleman, and were successful, as were Mesdames Perreau and Ball. The Longhurn. players intend paying a return visit at on early date. /
