BOROUGH FINANCE.
The Borough Treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s Council meeting:—
During the month of November the sum of £561 Is lOd was received, and was credited to accounts as underi —District fund account, £547 4s 4d, cemetery account £l3 17s Cd. The ledger balances at the 30th November, 1921, were as follows: — Imprest cash _ account £lO, gas works £945 8s Cd, general £627 7s lOd, hospital and charitable aid £55 Is Id, reserves £Bl 5s lOd, interest £l3l 4s 2d, all at debit, a total of £1,856 7s sd. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £lO6 2s lOd, contractors’ deposits £221, library £72 Is 2d, reconstruction £l,lßl 2s 4d, sanitation £ll6 Os 9d, town hall £169 13s Id, water and drainage £2,301 lls Id, a total of £4,167 lls 3d. SUMMARY.
