A GOOD RECIPE.
A recipe for “true .beauty” is offered iti an exchange, and seems suitable for both men and women, all of whom would, doubtless, wish to possess such a characteristic: — A contented mind. A trustful and hopeful spirit. A courteous manner. A friendly smile. A calm and dignified deportment. An unyielding integrity, A strict sense of justice. A large-hearted benevolence. A hatred for all that is false, unreal, or unholy. A love for all that is noble and pure and good. A willingness to learn from the humblest creature.
A disposition to esteem others better than. ourselves.
A temler regard for the young, the weak, and the aged. A pity for the fallen.
A reverence for all things sacred. A heart governed by principle, not policy. A heart at leisure from itself to soothe and sympathise. A constant purpose to treat all as we like to be treated. This recipe cannot faiL Try it.
