VICE-REGAL VISIT.

All arrangements are now settled in connection with the visit of His Excellency the- Governor-General and Viscountess Jellicoe to Foxton on Alonday. The Governor-General will be met at the entrance to the borough by the Mayor, and will be escorted by citizens in motor cars to the Triangle, in Alain Street, where the civic reception will take place, at 11.45 a.m. After the civic reception the Vice-Regal party will visit the school, and spend a quarter of an hour there. Their Excellencies will then be entertained at luncheon by the Alayor and Borough Councillors. Prior to their Excellencies’ departure for Rongotea, they will open a sale of work in (he Town Hall. The public and parents are invited to attend the Vice-Regal visit to the school, and to take up their positions outside the school class formation prior to the entry of the Vice-Regal party.
