A record of child travel is held by Master Colin Campbell, aged four years, who left Liverpool recently on the Canadian Pacific liner Empress of Britain, accompanied by his mother. He was horn at Shanghai. A year later he lived for a few months in both Australia and New Zealand, and then came on a visit to Europe. On reaching Shanghai, to which he is now going, he will have travelled 43,000 miles. As the liner was leaving, Colin dropped his photograph addressed to Eileen Carter, his playmate in England.
