ROYAL PICTURES.
“Broadway and Home” is the star item for Wednesday evening. It is a story, as, the title implies, of contrasting circumstances of life, from the simplicity of a quiet fishing village to the hectic sophistication of the great white way. The star role is interpreted by Eugene O’Brien, who takes the part of Michael Strange, living with his grandfather, whose hopes were that the boy would study for the ministry, but Michael’s ambition lay in the other direction. He desired an artistic career, and longed for (he life of the big cities. Eventually he gains his heart’s desire, but the heartless city brings tragedies upon bis head, and finally he returns home to be eoinfited by his boyhood sweetheart. As an extra, “The Branded Four” will be shown. Prices as usual.
On Thursday, “Fires of Youth” will be the special attraction. There will be no pictures at the Royal to-night.
