TENNIS.
The annual championship meeting of the Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association is to take place next year, on January 2nd, 3rd and 4th, in this centre, and will be under the control of the Palmerston North Lawn Tennis Club.
All matches will be played on the Linton Street- courts, which have had a considerable amount of money expended on them during the winter, and they are certain to be equal to the test imposed by strenuous championship engagements, says the Standard.
