Mr J. G. Honore advertises dayold chicks for sale in any quantity on Saturday, November 12! h. A list of entries for Saturday’s sale at the Mart, Avenue Road, are advertised to-day. Further entries will he accepted up to midday on Saturday. A four-roomed house, with pantry and scullery combined, washhouse, copper set in, shed, together with a quarter-acre section, situated in a good locality, is advertised for sale.

A special meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce will be held in All Saints’ schoolroom on Tuesday, 15th inst., at 7.30 p.m. The business will be to discuss the Association of Chambers’ agenda paper, and the Governor-General’s visit.

On Tuesday next, commencing at 1 p.m., the Foxton Auctioneering Company will sell at the mart llaxmill machinery, piping and fittings, pump, scales, timber, belting, pulleys, etc., absolutely without reserve. Also one English dogcart, and 20 totarn strainers.

Mr I. Gelhor, garage and and taxi proprietor, Shannon, advises by advertisement that he is commencing a Shannon-Foxton daily motor service, leaving Shannon at 12.10 p.m., and leaving Foxton at 2 p.m. (in lime to connect with the Napier down train. ’Phone No. 66, Shannon.
