SPRINGSTON SHOOTING AFFAIR.
CASE BEFORE SUPREME COURT.

The Springston shooting case was before the Supreme Court, when James Scott Main was charged that on September 14th he discharged a revolver with intent to disable Anthony Bartholomew McEvedy and Bernard Nuttall. There were further charges of wounding and of attempting to murder McEvedy and Nuttall, and of assaulting them. To all the counts Main pleaded not guilty. The evidence, so far as it has gone, is on the same lines as in the lower'court. The case is expected to take two or three days.
