“THE MUTINY OF THE ELSINORE.”

A thrilling picture of life on a sailing vessel bound on a voyage round the Horn, is revealed in “The Mutiny of the Elsinore,” the special production with an all-star cast led by Mitchell Lewis, a striking figure in virile roles. The picture may best be described as one which makes one’s hair rise, for it develops of all the power inherent in the source itself, that of Jack London’s stirring story of a conflict between strong men of the sea. Moi’e than this, however, the picture presents an arresting portrayal, of life on a sailing ship, where the mutiny of the gangster crew, who have been recruited from the dives of ’Frisco, is put down by the iron hand of John Pike, the sailing vessel’s first mate. This picture will be shown to-night, the prices being 2s and Is, plus tax. children half-price. Monday’s special is entitled “Straight is the Way.” Have you a little Ouija Board in your .home? Even though you do not consult the modem oracle of the affairs of- life, you know someone who does, because every one’s doing it now. For that reason we want to tell you about one of the most interesting Ouija board stories ever heard. Ethel Mumford wrote.it as “The Manifestation of Henry Ort,” and it made millions of readers laugh. Then Frances Marion wrote a scenario from it, retaining all the bubbling fun and the thrill that Mrs Mumford put into it. It has a lot of good thrills; it bubbles with laughter and fun, it has a lot of real drama mixed up with it, and there’s the most surprising little love story running through it. Also to be shown: Mack Sennett comedy: “His Wife’s Friend.
