PALMERSTON N. SILVER BAND.

The citizens (of Foxton will be pleased to hear the sound of silvery instruments in their streets this week-end. The Palmerston North B.A. Silver Band has a combination of twenty-four instrumentalists, under the baton of Bandmaster H. Jackson. This evening, in Main Street, selections and marches will be rendered, also including hymn tunes, some of Bandmaster Jackson’s compositions. If this evening is wet, the meeting will be held in the Salvation Army. Hall, commencing at 7.30. A large attendance is expected, as the Band’s programme will provide a real musical treat for the Foxton public.
