DANCING BY WIRELESS
An orchestra playing at The Hague, in Holland, the tunes come through the air, and people dance to the music in a ballroom in England —that is the latest marvel promised by wireless telephony. This evperiment—the first of its kind to be attempted will be conducted shortly at the St. George’s Hall, Margate. “The orchestra will play at our wireless station at The Hague,” said Mr John Ward, who is arranging the experiment. The music will be transmitted to our stations in London, which, in turn, will pass on the tunes to a special wireless installation at the fet. George’s Hall. The music will be greatly amplified by giant reproducers, and we hope to make it as loud as that produced by an ordinary dance orchestra.”
