NEW RUSSIAN STAMPS.

Now that Russia is slowly reentering into international relationships, the Soviet Government has been obliged to introduce postage stamps for use in foreign correspondence. The lowest denomination in stamps is to be one rouble, corresponding to the depreciated value of the currency. These stamps will.have as a design portraits of Lenin, Trotsky, Karl Marx, set upon the same background as was used by the Tsarist Government. Stamps of 100 roubles will have an allegorical design, showing the figure of a young man mounted on a white horse, with an army of workmen following his outstretched arm. Inland postage is to remain free, as before.
