RIFLE SHOOTING .

A sweepstake was held last Saturday, 10 shots at 300 yards. The weather was fine and hot, with a slight south-westerly breeze. The attendance was only fair, several members being unavoidably absent. A new member, Mr A. E. Admore, was present, also x - Mr F. Daniels. Scoring • was rather irregular, the puffy breeze accounting for a good many threes. Scores were as follows :

The shoot next Saturday will be 10 shots at 500 yards (Bisley target).
