The Government Meteorologist vires ns follows: — The indications are for easterly winds moderate to strong, freshening, and veering by east to south, "Weather cloudy to overcast. Heavy rain is to lie expected, with rivers rising shortly, and colder soon. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising after about 20 hours. Seas rough, tides moderate.
