MOTOR LORRY FALLS 200 FEET

A motor lorry owned and driven by a man named Davcy, and laden with twelve hales of wool, left, the road on Mefemere Hill, on the Opo-tiki-Gisborne road, and fell a dist;ilice of over 200 feet, crashing through light hush to the creek below. The driver was thrown out. Ho struck his head on a hale of wool, hut his injuries are.not serious. Salvage work is difficult, owing to the precipitous gradient.
