CRICKET
Weather permitting, there will be a practice on Victoria Park pitch to morrow afternoon. It- is probable that a meeting of all present will be held to consider the question of forwarding the interests of cricket locally. All in any way interested are asked to be present, if possible. Although progress seems very slow up till the present, there are signs that cricket will he firmly established in the near future, hut this will necessitate a good deal of spade work on the part of the handful of enthusiasts. It. is a recommendation to all interested to any degree to get in touch with those endeavouring to organise the club, in order that an idea can be gained promptly of all prospective players. Both Saturday and Wednesday players tire wanted. Air W..E. Bullard, Mr E. Huntley, or the secretary, Mr H. M. Carter, will be pleased to receive names, or give any information on the matter.
