PROFIT GIVES WAY TO LOSS

The railway working account for (he period from Ist April to 20th August shows a loss of £47,330, whereas for the same period last year there was a profit of £391,441. Revenue for the period amounted to £2,502,553,, and the expenditure totalled £2,(109,883.
