THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist svires as follows: — The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but easterly prevailing, and veering by east to south. Expect dull weather, with much mist and fog in parts. Heavy rain to be expected, with rivers rising. The barometer has falling tendency. Seas heavy, tides good.
