INNNOCULATION AGAINST INFLUENZA.
The Department of Health advises that at present the number of eases of severe influenza is small. However, a supply of vaccine is now available at all public hospitals. The Department, in the light of modern knowledge, is not prepared to strongly recommend innoculation. Nevertheless, it considers that this should be readily available for any persons desirous of adopting it. Members of the general public can be inoeculated free of cost to themselves at any public hospital. In addition, vaccine is being supplied to medical practitioners* on application.
