SPRING SHOW

TOWN HALL, TO-MORROW,

The annual Spring Show in Connection with the local Horticultural Society will be held in the Town Hall to-morrow afternoon' and night. Entries close at 5 p.m. to-day. Despite the season for bulbs being a little earlier than the Show date this year, there should be n good exhibition of locally grown blooms. The schedule provides a large number of classes, which should be fairly well filled in the various sections. The Citizens’ Trophy, for three distinct varieties of daffodils, should attract keen competition. Classes for fruit and vegetables, decorative, dairy produce, cookery and home industries are provided, and should be well represented. Afternoon tea will be provided during the afternoon. The Show will be open from 3 to 5, and 7to 10 p.m. Some interesting competitions will be got off during the evening.
