ASSAULT ON A GIRL.

Thomas Britt, aged 49 years, no fixed abode, was convicted at the Magistrate's Court for assaulting a girl aged 11 years, by kissing her. The incident occurred at A rati ha on the evening of 22nd August. The child was seized by the defendant, who had. been drinking, and kissed several times on the cheek. He was sentenced to Id days’ imprisonment.
