The Thirteen Club at Marseilles decided to put its lucky number to the test on Friday, May 13th. They went to Monte Carlo, -racked 1309 frames each on number 13 straight, and stood breathless while I lie little marble spun round. Number 26 won.

Fifty American students of architecture in American universities have offered their services to the Minister for Devastated Regions, France, to work during the summer on reconstruction work in the devastated sections. Their offer was accepted.

Aboil! 738,001' short t<m> of oolitic limestone, a building stone widely used in America, valued at .C 1,475,975, was sold in the BedfordBloomington district, Indiana, in 2920. The. sales in 2 919 wer eapproxiwately 521,700 short tons, valued at £791,200. Deliveries of grain from the farmers of Czechoslovakia have diminished of late, but crop prospects arc very good, and when all the grain purchased abroad is received there should be a reserve of 10,000 car-loads of flour for the new period of 1921-22.

The present corn crop of Argentina is estimated at 5,853,000 metric tons, and it is calculated that Argentina will probably have 3,978,000 metric tons of maize available for export, after the amounts necessary for home consumption and seeding have been deducted.
