ROYAL PICTURES.

Maurice Tourneur has made t\ thrilling motion picture out of Jaques Futrelle’s well-known mystery romance, “My Lady’s'Garter,” which, is to he shown to-night. The story centres round the pursuit of a baffling international thief, known “The Hawk," and involves the love affair of a young Englishman v;’no was for a time suspected of being the criminal and the daughter? of a railroad magnate. The plot is spirited in the extreme, and involves such thi’illing scenes, as the nearcrash of two railroad trains, an exciting pursuit on the water inyachts, and the escape of “The Hawk” by a leap from n secondstory window, and his final end in a motor-boot explosion. A. laughable comedy “Why’Divorce,” will also be shown.

On Monday night a new W illiam Fox production, “The Joyous Troublemakers." will he shown. It i<i said to be strikingly original, and William Fa mum will be featured. Mr Farnttm is world-renowned as a romantic actor. Many great classics have been rewritten for him; now, in “The. Joyous Troublemakers,” he is setting out to .make a classic. It is said to he n very beau < tsful production, full worthy of the star. The background is one of the most delightful spots in the United States, and the director and tho photographer have made the most of it. It is a love story, naturally, for Fa mum has been hailed its “the perfect lover.” Also a great Sunshine comedy will he shown, “The Baby.” Prices, 2s and Is plus tax, children half-price.
