TOWN HALL PICTURES.
Seldom has the lovely May Allison had a more fascinating role than that of May Manchester, in “Held in Trust,” the six-reel Metro picture from a famous Red Book Magazine story. This feature will lie the loading item in a fine programme to be screened at lowest prices, at the Town Hall to-night. May is a shopgirl with nothing beyond her horizon but a drab existence. One day she is lifted to a position of wealth in a home of riches. A woman site resembles closely lies dying, and when she dies an immense trust fund will slip from the possession of her husband. Mary is persuaded to take the place of the dyng woman, and from then on the play develops dramatic intensity. The final episode of “The Dragon's Net” serial, and also the Ist episode of “The Moonriders,” a serial in which horsemanship slums predominate, will be screened, besides a topical and comedy. On Monday the N.W. Mounted Police story, “Under Northern Lights,” will head a special programme.
