FOUND DEAD.
RETURNED SOLDIER’S FATE,
Dunedin, Aug. 11
Thomas Alexander Dale, a single man and a returned soldier, was found dead this evening in the cellar of the Excelsior Hotel. He evidently mistook his way, and entered the bottle cellar, which is down a right-of-way, where he was found sitting with his head between his legs in a stooping position.
