A girl is wanted to assist in house work; good wages. The Foxton Auctioneering Co. will hold their usual sales on Saturday. The meat sale will take place at 9.30 a.m., and the mart sale'at 2 p.m. Particulars are advertised for the Grand Monster Procession to he held at Palmerston on Saturday, August 13th, at. 2.30 p.m. Read it. Grandstand seats for the Spring-boks-llorowlienun-Manawatu match at Palmerston N. next Wednesday can be reserved on application to Mr F. D. Whibley. Tenders are invited up to noon on Wednesday, 17th inst., for the purchase of launch hull at present at the pilot’s boat shed, at the Beach. Tho hull is approximately 24ft. by 7ft. beam.
