ROYAL PICTURES
“Out Yonder,” to he screened tonight, is an absorbing drama of the sea, a story of stormy coasts and sunny hearts. It is a gripping, thrilling drama’from beginning to end. The absorbing interest of the plot, the breathless adventure, the thrilling scenes and the rare humour of it will at once win you.
What is probably the most human and appealing story that has been screened is shewing at the Royal on Friday. It is King Vidor’s special production, “The Turn in the Road,” featuring an all-star cast, led by Helen Eddy and little Ben Alexander. A young man who loses his young bride when their son is horn loses faith in himself and nil religion, and after wandering about the world and tasting the dregs, at last drifts hack to find; the truth from Iris little" son. No one can resist the simple appeal of the story, which hears the master touch of the great director. •*
Since “The Better ’Ole” came, there has been no picture with just its qualities of humanness and humour, until now. The English picture that is the companion to the “Better ’Ole” to be screened at the Royal on Monday has them all, without the pathos, and the enraptured, audience that nigthly greets “Alf’s Button” with roars of contented laughter is sufficient proof of this. Don’t forget, at the Royal on Monday.
