CHILD KILLED BY CAR.

Wellington, Aug. 9

Another motor fatality occurred in Hie city to-night. Benjamin Victor Bevan, son of Benjamin Bevan, of 14 Guthrie Street, Thorndon, was knocked down by a motor ear, driven by Ainsley Bertram, a power mechanic. The child’s skull was fractured, and lie died fifteen minutes after the accident. The hoy was playing on the pavement, and suddenly ran on to the street.
