BOROUGH FINANCE
At last night's Council meeting the Borough Treasurer reported as follows: —
During the month of July the stuii of £4,572 15s 4d was received, and has been placed to the credit of accounts as follows: —District Fund account £1,169 15s 4d, cemetery account £2, wtiter and drainage loan account £3,410.
The ledger balances at the 31st July, J 921, were as follows: —Imprest cash £l9, gits works £364 3s lid, general £594 17s (id, hospital atu] charitable aid £2B 9s, reserves .ci§9 11s Id, interest £295 His Bd, all at debit, a lotal of £1,422 18s 2d. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £93 0s 4d, contractors’ deposits £212, library £69 7.s Id, reconstruction £1,224 9s 2d, sanitation £152 8s 4d, town hall £IOB 2s 6d, water and drainage loan £2.022 2s Id, a total of £3,872 12s (id.
