JEWELLERY STOLEN AT HAMILTON.

Hamilton, July 20

An impudent burglary occurred just before 7 o’clock this morning, when a man broke a window of Mr M. Kissin’s shop and scooped from a rack a number of gold watches and chains valued at £IOO, and then decamped. The incident was seen by young ladies living opposite, who rang up the police, Imt when the latter arrived the thief bad disappeared. His description lollies with that of a man who came into town on Saturday with three others, and did not return to his boardinghouse this morning.
