The ordinary fortnightly meeting of (he Borough. Council will he held on Monday, the 25th inst., at 7.30 J). < The Foxfon Beautifying Society invite tenders for formation, levelling and grading at Native Cemetery. Tenders close with the treasurer at 4 p.m. on Monday next. The annual general meeting of the Foxton Volunteer Fire Brigade will be held in Perreau’s rooms tomorrow evening, at 7.30 o’clock. Business: Election .of officers, and general. All members are requested to attend.
On Saturday next the Poxton Auctioneering Coy. will hold their usual sales. At 9.30 a/m. the meat sale will be held, and at 2 p.m. the usual mart sale, entries for which are advertised to-day. Further entries for this sale are invited.
