FLIGHT TO NEW ZEALAND

Mr Wilson, who asked to be allowed to accompany Lieutenant Briggs on bis proposed flight from Australia to New Zealand, has received the following reply: “So sorl’v, going solo; fuel takes oilier accommodation. ’’ Mr W. I). Lysnar, M.P., has telegraphed to the Minister of Defence saying: “Wilson is again cabling Briggs, giving bis flying weight as nine stone six, and is urging Briggs fo allow him to accompany him, if only as companion. Could you see your way to supplement Wilson’s further request? It might help the position.'
