Ten-year Mortgage Debentures, issued by the Gisborne Slieepfannors’ Frozen Meat Company, will be interested in the following figures,.which reveal the remarkable progress of the rich East Coast district of the North Island. Undoubtedly, Poverty Bay is a region with a great future. The figures show the exports from Gisborne during quinquennial periods:—-191(5-1920 . . . . £2,144,56(5 mil -1035 .. .. 1,373,145 1006-1910 .. .. 902,554 1901-1905 .. .. 512,149 The history of the Gisborne Sheepfarmers' Frozen Meat Company, the pioneer farmers' company of Poverty Bay, shows a consistent expansion in harmony with the above figures. It has three up-to-date freezing works at Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Hick’s Bay. Its business is mainly concerned with the killing and freezing of meat, and it operates on clients’ account only. The £300,000 Mortgage Debenture Issue is secured by first mortgage of property and plant valued at £015,2(53.

Debentures will be issued in bearer form, and in denominations of £SO, £IOO,. and £SOO and £I,OOO. •Currency, 10 years. Interest at 74 per cent, per annum, payable lml£\early free of Debenture Tax.
