ROYAL PICTURES.

Within the cold, grim walls of u haunted castlo tho hero found a. fair ghost behind an ancient suit of armour—and he won the ghost for his wife. Take this plat oij George Barr McCutcheon’s popular story of love and adventure, with its mediaeval settings, add the clever young actor, Eugene O'Brien, and mix in some wonderful winter photography, and you have the latest Selznick picture, “A Fool and His Money,” to bo screened to-night. It is a most artistic picture, and it stands as a monument to the work of Robert Ellis, the director. As an extra, “The Silent Avenger” will be advanced another episode. “One Hour," to be shown oti Friday, is the screen adaptation of the widely-discussed novel that succeeded Elinor Glyh’s “Throe Weeks,” and furnishes the best opportunities that Zena Keefe ever had to show what her abilities are. This beautiful star gives a tender, moving impersonation of the tragic little princess who only wanted to live quietly in the love of the man whom fate had willed to be her perfect mate. The production is beyond the average, some of the scenes of tho snow-covered Canadian woods being rarely beautiful. Convincing to a degree, and delicately handled so ns to give no offence even to the most fastidious, “Ono Hour” is a picture whose interest surpasses that of the noTcl which gave it birth. This picture will be also shown at Saturday’s matinee.
