Dannevirke, July 11

At the inquest concerning tho death of Lucy Williams, who died on 29th June as the result of injuries received in a collision with another cyclist,’ the evidence showed that deceased and her sister were riding without lights, and the former was run into by a male cyclist, who also did not have a'light. A v rdict was returned of death fr. m fraeture of the base of the sku'l. The Coroner strongly commented upon the practice of people riding bicycles and driving motor cars and vehicles.after dark without lights.
