ROYAL PICTURES

The true racing atmosphere is reproduced in the big English sporting attraction at the Royal to-night, “The Gentleman Rider.” This is a production that easily raise- the standard of English film plays. Tt is realistically and lavishly produced, and has a plot that is brilliantly conceived and executed. Violet Hopson shares with Stewart Rome the honours of stardom in this, as in other Broadwest feature-, and these two popular artists will go a long way towards establishing themselves as firm favourties with the screen public for their outstanding work in “The Gentleman Rider.” Usual prices.

Founded upon the novel by Ridgwell Culium, the famous writer of Western stories, “Twins of Suffering Creek,” a picture starring William Russell, and which is coming to the Royal on Monday, is said to be crammed with exciting _ incidents. Russell, as all motion picture patrons know, is at his best in a drama of action and rapid movement, and there is much interest of this sort in his latest picture. There will also be shown a real rip-roaring screen farce, “Beware of the Bride,” featuring the popular actress, Eileen Percy. The prices for the double programme will be as usual, Is Id and Gd, children half-price.
