EVENING WEDDING AT SHANNON.

An evening wedding was 'celebrated in the Shannon Methodist Church on Wednesday last, by the Rev, Mr Minifie. the contracting parlies be ting Miss Myrtle Hubbard and Mr W. McSavncy. The bride wore a becoming gown of white silk, with veil and orange blossom. Miss Edna Hook was bridesmaid, and wore a white crepe do chine dress, with blue beaver hat. Mr Gordon McSavney, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. Miss Ellis Easton made a pretty flower girl, in white crepe-de-chene with rose-coloured ribbons and basket of flowers. The church was crowded with well-wishers, the young‘people being generally popular. After the ceremony the happy couple, ainid the hearty congratulations of their friends, left by car for Wellington. The church was decorated with a large bell of flowers tied with pink ribbons.
