In the Mnrtinboroiigh Magislrale's Court this morning George \\. Cobb, until lately clerk to the tea(herston County Council, pleaded guilty to a number of charges of misappropriating the council’s money. The charge related to the period from January 6th, 1914, to June 14th, 1921, and involved a s uni of £707. Accused was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court sittings in Wellington on July sth.
