ROYAL PICTURES.

What impresses the discerning observer of Miss Ilammorstein’s work is the fact that she never overacts, but goes about each particular scene as if it was the one thing in the world she was used to doing, and “The Woman Game,” to be screened to-night, is easily the best photoplay in which Miss Hommerstein has yet appeared. It is a fascinating and interesting story that will appeal to the feminine element of an audience, for it shows the way in which a young woman possessed only of her womanly charms, uses (hem to advantage and “wins out" over the hard and ruthless business man, capturing his heart, but not before she convinces him that “ all’s fair in love and war.”

J. Warren Kerrigan will be seen at the Royal on Friday and Saturday’s matinee, in “The Drifters,” his latest Hampton picture, “The Drifters” is the story of the dramatic way in which fate brings together three characters in the snowbound regions of Alaska, whose lives are curiously intertwined. Lois Wilson is the only woman in the story. The remainder of the cast is made up of Cassou Ferguson, William Conklin and Walter Perry. Because of its dissimilarity from anything he has ever done, “The Drifters” promises to make many more new friends for Mr Kerrigan, whose popularity is in the ascendant with every new picture.
