English goods of this description are still in very short supply, and owing to the present coal strike in England deliveries will be slower than ever. “The statements previously published,” says the Express, “were taken from a Wanganui paper, whcli is evidently making the same .mistake as many others at the present time, in taking the many panic prices of to-day as representing present market rates.”
