“Twelve Ten,” the chief attraction to-night, is a production that may well be described a real thriller. The ethereal beauty of Marie Doro was never so appealing as in this picture, filmed in Paris and London. Skill and intelligence that go to the making of this feature, which for intensity and mystery will be hard to equal. The story works up to a tremendous climax in which the wonderful portrayal of the diminutive star shines out like a glittering gem. As a dramatic spectacle as well as a work of screen art, “Twelve Ten” is a remarkable production. Prices for tonight, Is Id and Gd. As tin extra a further episode of “The Lost City” will he shown.
“Heart Strings” is the significant name of the latest vehicle of William Farnum, in the new William Fox production, which will be shown-on Monday. It is the story of a great musician, a violinist, who plays upon the heart strings of humanity. In his rendition of the part of Pierre Fournel, a man whose love for an only sister causes him to set aside a mint ion and how to unjust circumstances, William Farnum is said to have made a new record for himself in masterful artistry. The story is alive with throbbing interest from beginning to end; and the tense moments are said to keep the audience keyed up to a high pitch of enthusiastic interest during the entire performance. The prices of admission will be 2s and Is, plus tax, children half-price.
