WANDERING STOCK AND TRESPASS FEES.
At last night's Council meeting Cr. Coley asked that the ranger's attention he drawn to wandering stock ou tlie roads. lie staled that a number of people were in the habit of grazing their stock on the roads day and night. Cr. Martin asked whether the ranger was allowed to impose tres-< pifss fees on stock without the consent of the property owner on whose property the stock had been wandering, The Council decided that the ranger’s report be adopted, and that his attention be drawn to stock wandering about the streets, and that he bo asked to furnish an explanation as to trespass fee imposed.
