CLAIM AGAINST A DOCTOR FAILS.

Christchurch, June 9.

The case in which Awa Fleming claimed £1,730 general and special damages from Hr. Maurice Loiiisson for alleged negligent and unskilful treatment, has been concluded. The following questions were put to the jury:—

“Hid the plaintiff suffer injury by reason of the negligence of the defendant ” —Answer: “No.”

“If the answer is ‘Yes/ then what damages, if any, is the platintiff entitled to (a) special, (b) general ” —No answer.

Judgment was entered for defendant with costs.
